A celebration of delicious & nutritious heavenly food!
Nourishing Our Community: Food at Heart Festival
Food is a big part of Heart Festival, bringing our community together to nourish our bodies in a beautiful act of gratitude and love. One of the elements that makes Heart Festival a “retreat-style” gathering is our devotion to serving food made with love on-site by our amazing catering team.
As event facilitators, our experience in hosting retreats has shown us the wonderful benefits of coming together as a community to connect over breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Our program will pause at these times so we can all enjoy the delicious and nutritious food included with your festival ticket.
Meals and Menu:
Locally Sourced Produce: Our caterers at Gaunts House source their produce as locally as possible, ensuring fresh and high-quality meals.
Vegetarian Cuisine: All meals will be vegetarian, with gluten-free and vegan options available when you book your ticket.
Meal Schedule:
The full festival ticket includes all meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner).
Meals start with dinner on Friday, August 23rd, and end with a takeaway lunch on Monday, August 26th, after the morning circle.
Self-Catering Option:
For those who prefer, we also invite you to cater for yourself, but please be aware that we do not have any facilities for cooking, storing food, and ask that all rubbish be taken home with you.
Join us in this communal dining experience, where every meal is an opportunity to connect, share, and nourish our bodies and souls.
We also offer a selection of sweet treats, hot and cold drinks, and goodies, along with toasties for our day guests. These delicious options are available at an additional charge, affordably priced for the festival, with a percentage of all sales going to support our charity.
Doing Our Best!
Our Eco Philosophy
At Heart Festival, our eco philosophy is rooted in our commitment to being as eco-friendly as possible and inspiring the spirit of karma yoga. We invite everyone to unite in caring for the environment of our beautiful, nature-immersed site, honouring it as our sacred temple for the duration of the festival.
To support our eco-friendly goals, we ask that you bring everything you need to collect your food and drinks from our servers. This includes plates, mugs, cutlery, water bottles, and anything else that supports your culinary comfort. By doing so, we can reduce waste and minimise our environmental footprint, ensuring that we leave our site as beautiful as we found it.
Together, we can create a sustainable and harmonious festival experience, celebrating the spirit of community and respect for nature.
We also ask that you clear away after yourselves, there will be washing up spaces available for you, and any rubbish you create for yourself we ask that you remove and take home, there will not be lots of bins around, if we all do our bit, it makes us much more aware of how to reduce our usage in the first place.
Thank you for joining us in this important effort!
