Welcome to Heart Festival!

Come together for this unique family-friendly, retreat-style gathering.

Celebrate the beauty and joy of life with England’s newest Yoga & Sacred Arts Festival. Together we will live as a little village of love – eating together, meditating together & having fun together. Uniting in the heart, we begin to discover the rich and infinite possibilities of living natural human lives. Together, we can help heal our world.

At Heart Festival you can enjoy a rich programme that includes world-class kirtan artists, musicians, heart-melting yoga classes, inspiring workshops, a children’s programme, heavenly veggie food made on site with love, and a special puja and kirtan to Love Itself. For those who don’t want to just practice yoga but to really LIVE yoga, this is the festival for you!

Heart Festival is a non-profit event, raising funds for the international charity work of the Heart Of Living Yoga Foundation.

This year at Gaunts House!

You have the option to stay in a comfortable bedroom
in this magical house, a beautiful glamping tent,

What makes us a retreat-style Festival?

Our family-friendly festival is organised by a team of yoga practitioners and teachers, who love hosting retreats. We wanted to bring that energy and rhythm to a larger group, but still small enough to feel close, connected. To live together as a beautiful community of love, where you can enjoy:

  • Opening and closing ceremonies where we’ll come together as one tribe.

  • Rising for early morning meditation and yoga or Qi Gong.

  • Shared meals with heavenly veggie food provided by Gaunts House catering team, included with your festival ticket.

  • Relaxing Yoga Nidra, Sound Healing & inspiring workshops.

  • Heart-melting kirtan concerts.

  • Our programme finishes by 11pm each night, so we can enjoy a peaceful nights sleep under the stars.

  • On Sunday evening there will be a very special candlelit Rose Ceremony in the Heart Temple led by Padma Devi, with a full puja to Love Itself, with special guest artists offering ‘Love Said To Me’ sacred music, Rumi poetry and heavenly kirtan.

Heart Meditation

Each day of this beautiful retreat-style festival begins and ends with Heart Meditation, guided by Heart Meditation Facilitators from the Heart Of Living Yoga. The spiritual heart is the silent part of mind - the place of natural peace & joy within us all.

If you enjoy this five minute Heart Meditation - Breath of the Heart
- you will LOVE the Heart Festival!

By beginning our meditation by focusing in the Heart Centre, when consciousness naturally starts to rise, it is able to rise through the correct channels, the right Nadis which lead it naturally upwards towards the crown chakra and eventually to liberation.

What people say about Heart Meditation

— Sarapriya Knowles-Dixon
Heart Practice is the most challenging thing I’ve ever done. Not in a hard way, but in a softening way.
— Prashant Suttner
When feeling scattered, overwhelmed and even in crisis, I find the heart meditation is a place of true refuge and peace.
